Inspiration for our times ~The Way ~

This week I am posting one of my favorite talks. I believe I posted it a few years ago on my other blog. But it is what the world needs to know for these challenging times. It truly is inspiration for our times.  Just two days ago our Prophet Russell M. Nelson said that gratitude and prayer will flood the world with goodness. Jesus Christ is the best example we have of goodness. Jesus Christ is the way to happiness, fulfilment, revelation, and love.

Inspiration for our times ~ Disciple-Leader ~

You may have heard this talk this week. It was given remotely to the newly named Ensign College. But I believe he began this idea in at BYU Idaho in 2007.

Ponder this:
What is my purpose?
How can I lift, strengthen, and build the people around me?
How can I add value?

Inspiration for our times ~Constant Companion ~

As you can tell by my blog, I believe in God the Eternal Father and in His son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. With them as companions life may not be without challenges but those challenges can be resolved. These companions will help us stay on the covenant path that leads to being in the presence of them forever. I hope you enjoy the week and have the peace you need for each day
.

Watch, Listen to, or read: Who Is Your Constant Companion? by Elder D. Fraser Bullock

Ponder this:
Decades ago, President David O. McKay said, “Satan is still determined to have his way, and his emissaries have power given them today as they have not had throughout the centuries.”

"We each need to keep in mind an eternal perspective of what is occurring around us and what we are doing to be engaged in the battle for righteousness, including our own personal righteousness."

"Let us each have a daily devotional to keep that eternal perspective we need, and to have the Spirit as our constant companion. With this foundation, we can avoid the pitfalls of the world and be better prepared for the difficult challenges when they come. Ultimately, we can then experience the eternal happiness the Father and the Son have made available, all dependent upon us."
