Inspiration for our times ~ponder~

Pondering is a spiritual principle that is often spoken of in scripture and by prophets, seers, and revelators,  not many of us know how to ponder or how to do so with the degree of effectiveness that will unlock the desired results.
It is my hope that we may learn from this talk and develop this gift called pondering.

Inspiration for our times ~ Steadfast and Immovable~

So much violence and hate, persecution and sin are going on in the world. The best way to survive is to be faithful to the promises we have made to the Lord. We are called for this time to be steadfast and immovable in keeping the commandments of God. I hope this blog post inspires you to draw closer to God our Father and His son Jesus Christ for there is much more to come.
Scripture reference: Alma 1:25

David A. Bednar spoke at BYU Idaho and answered these 3 questions.
*What does it mean to be steadfast and immovable?
*How do we become steadfast and immovable?
*What blessings are associated with being a steadfast and immovable disciple of the Savior?

Inspiration for our times- Stand Forever

I have enjoyed listening to Bro. Corbridge speeches for years. When I found this talk I was thrilled. It is one I will need to spend much time digesting the enormous amount of truths in it.

Watch BYU devotional: Stand Forever- Lawrence Corbridge

Ponder this:
For in those days [this day] there shall also arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch, that, if possible, they shall deceive the very elect, who are the elect according to the covenant.

How do we avoid deception? Begin by answering the primary questions.

1. Is there a God who is our Father?
2. Is Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Savior of the world?
3. Was Joseph Smith a prophet?
4. Is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the kingdom of God on the earth?
